Guarantor Contact

The next step is to enter the guarantor details. This guarantor will be responsible for the payment of bills if in case the patient is unable to pay. Check the box if the guarantor is same as emergency contact. Then click on “Save” button to save the patient’s details. Soon after save a pop-up will appear asking to enter the encounter details as shown in the image below.

Select the encounter type from the list of shown options. Select patient type and billing type. Enter patient’s vitals, anthropometry etc. Select cash or credit for billing type. If you select credit, you will have the option to chose credit type as insurance, corporate or guarantor.

Then select the department and doctors from the dropdown list. Add referral details if any, as shown in the image below and click Confirm. To add referrals the user, need to select referral type from the dropdown and enter the referral organisation name, contact person name and number. The user can also create new referrals by clicking on New Organisation from Organisation dropdown.

After clicking confirm, a popup will appear showing “encounter created successfully”. Then the system will automatically take you to the patients list as shown in the image below.
