The discharge summary can be generated by clicking on the discharge summary option.
The prompt on the discharge summary screen suggests the user to select a patient and select a finalized visit.
The discharge summary contains the preventive measures and the out of hospital advice that the doctor suggests.
Note: The nursing station can issue the discharge summary only after the doctor concerned has allowed the patient’s discharge. This is done through the doctors EMR screen where the patient name displays in Discharge Request menu.
